[dropcap style=”font-size:100px; color:#992211;”]A[/dropcap] Bernie believer recently opined on a thread of mine: “Bernie has inspired a movement such as the fractured left has not been able to do[.]”
Say what? The Democratic National Committee has shredded Uncle Bernie’s platform agenda. Bernie stood flat-footed and silent as Hillary Rodham Clinton, the DNC, and their respective operatives rigged caucuses and primaries.
Yet he has vowed he will unite his people to defeat scary pants Donald Trump. Moreover, he will stand behind the podium and proffer his endorsement of the Wall Street/national security state/military imperium darling War Queen Hillary, the anointed one; thereby betraying everything he claims he stands for.
Yet Bernie believers can discern a “movement” somewhere in this scenario? Perhaps, the bowel movement of a bovine – commonly referred to as bullshit.
The ever-concise Bruce A. Dixon states the naked truth in his Black Agenda Report website (News, information and analysis from the black left): “1984 and 88 the sheepdog candidate was Jesse Jackson. In 92 it was California governor Jerry Brown. In 2000 and 2004 the designated sheepdog was Al Sharpton, and in 2008 it was Dennis Kucinich. This year it’s Vermont senator Bernie Sanders.”
After as many years as Comrade Bernie has spent in Washington, caucusing with the Democrats for fucksake, he damn well knew he was participating in a sham process i.e., the preordained anointment of War Queen Hillary. How is it possible that he didn’t?
Sanders cannot plead toxic innocence as can members of his Sandernista flock. If he wants to regain a scintilla of integrity, he will refuse to herd them to the soul-slaughter of voting for HRC and go indy. Of course, it will not come to pass, thus Sanders’ candidacy will simply join the dismal and disgraced ranks of Democrat sham insurgencies past i.e., The Two-Legged Sheepdogs’ Hall Of Shame.

Yet a bio amounts to dharma for dimwits: It defines a human being in the same manner and degree of veracity as a restaurant menu describes the various slabs of meat offered … commodified things that were once living beings.
