The passing of loved ones, acquaintances and heroes left me in no mood to pick up a camera or review a show. I for one have felt tragic, like Marlon Brando.
I wouldn’t say there was wind back in the sails but there is definitely a light breeze. That breeze takes me to The Forum in Kentish Town and Three Days Grace.

These are the opening lyrics to ‘I Am Machine’ and the opening to their packed out London show.
There’s a lot of truth in TDG’s lyrics and their whole set is performed with a passion and an energy which spills out and infects the already exuberant crowd. It makes me glad I’m back on the guns.

They sing ‘Riot’ and you feel empowered, like that great bit of dialogue in Rocky Balboa, and with that we are back in the ring and moving forward.
