[dropcap style=”font-size:100px; color:#992211;”]T[/dropcap]wenty-five years since Peter Gabriel released So, the ex-Genesis frontman now prepares to play the entire album live across the UK.
The album upon which ‘Red Rain’, Don’t Give Up’ and the ubiquitous ‘Sledgehammer’ featured will be played in its entirety, along with a showcase of tracks spanning the artist’s career. Apart from the string of hit singles it provided, So displayed the growing influence of world music on Gabriel’s career, and a creative collaboration with producer Daniel Lanois.
A quarter century after So went five-times platinum in the USA and triple-platinum in the UK, the ‘Back to Front’ tour sees Gabriel reunited with members of the original band who toured the album. Bassist Tony Levin, guitarist David Rhodes, keyboardist David Sancious and drummer Manu Katche.
Tickets will be available as pre-sales to fan-club members from Wednesday 21st November from 9am, and will go on general sale on Friday 23rd November from 9am.
