Back together, back on tour, and a new single out in a month.
Soundgarden's lyricism always set them slightly apart from the slew of 90s grunge-rock bands. More by accident than design, the band was lumped in with the lifestyle/music/knitwear explosion that was Seattle in the Nirvana-era. Somewhat unfortunately, as the band was never just a lightweight shorts-and-cardigans caprice riding the swell of excitement and publicity that typified the grunge explosion. They just happened to be there at the time.
A European tour, some twenty years after 'Black Hole Sun' will prove it.
